The Asian approach

Written by YellowFellows at 10:11 3/6-2014

A lot of things have changed during the course of this season. We decided to sell our best riders, in order to make a switch into an Asian team. Fayad was sold for a record-breaking 635k, while Gamblin was sold for 210k. This money made the foundation for the investments done in the team after that.

One who has really risen to the occasion is Bo-il Kung. He's now at AV52 and still not maxed (though expected to do so very soon).

Du-gook In was a promising 210+ hillsprinter, but sadly maxed far too early.

Tae-eun Seop is still in the making, and we are watching his progress carefully as we go.

We will celebrate this Asian conversion by going to Denmark and fast on wheels with 3 Koreans and 2 Japanese riders. There is an Aussie taging along for the show, likely to be carrying lots of water bottles. Will be shipped out soon! We dont have a set goal for our participation, but Kung will be our captain in top form!

Not winning on purpose

So we just finished 2nd in Criterium Tourmalet. And we wish to say to Nefal, who won, that we only finished 2nd in order to reach 666 points. Otherwise Marant s...

As for FoW, Im happy just getting a result. Kung is indeed in TF, but the preperations for it werent optimal, as Kung has been trained alot in the weeks before FoW. "Unfortunately" not maxed, so I couldnt send him to TT-center either.

Havent really decided. I dont really have a great team of leadouts, so perhaps my best bet is some sort of allround team, with a mix of leadouts and teammates/hill helpers supporting Kung.

Might mix that in with some climbing races should Seop turn out strong enough to lead.

Two Korean superstars in topform, hopefully we both can win stages and get a nice spot in GC. Good luck, tomorrow!

I really like how you formed your team so far. Kung is turning out great and the Asian only team approach is cool. On what kind of races are you going to focus? Seems like your team is for climbing and hill sprints at the moment.
